Matrasa spent her Sunday mornings singing in Sunday school. At 7 years old, she asked to sing on stage in front of the congregation! This one moment sparked her desire to become a professional singer.
Though Matrasa is very capable and loves singing all styles of music, Country and Gospel are the closest to her heart. She has devoted years of study and training to master her dynamic voice so she can create a unique auditory experience for her listeners.
On stage, Matrasa is energetic and engaging, but she has not forgotten how to slow down by pulling herself up to a piano or sitting down with a guitar for an amazing acoustic sound.
In 2019, Matrasa headed to Nashville to record her first original song she co-wrote and composed. It was released in Feb. 2020. Matrasa has since released 2 other originals.
